The process
4 questions
How long does a website take?
That depends on the size of the build and how fast your photos and content arrive, so I put the schedule in your written proposal instead of guessing here. A preview link goes up in the first week of the build either way.
What happens on the intro call?
We talk for fifteen minutes about your business: what you do, where your jobs come from, what's working, and what's not. Afterward, you decide whether you'd like to move ahead and whether a website is the right fit for your business.
What do you need from me?
A few meetings, about an hour each. You fill out a one-page document about your business and what you want the site to say, and you drop your photos and videos into a shared folder I set up. The more photos, the better.
Can I see the site before I commit?
You see it once the build starts. You sign the agreement, pay half up front, and a preview link goes up in the first week so you can watch it come together.

Working together
3 questions
Who will I be talking to?
Me, the whole way. You work with the same person from the first call to launch, so I remember every conversation and keep your details on file. When you ask for something, I make sure it gets done.
What if I want changes during the build?
The build price includes two rounds of revisions. After the preview goes up we meet once or twice to go over what you'd like changed, and before launch we walk through every page and every picture together. Rounds beyond those two are billed at $110 an hour, quoted before I start.
Do I need to be technical?
No. I handle the technical side of the build and the launch for you. Everything I need from you fits on the one-page document we start with.

Cost and payment
2 questions
What does a website cost?
A starter site begins at $2,400, a standard site at $3,600, and a booking platform at $5,500. Every build comes with a monthly Care + Hosting plan starting at $49. The pricing page breaks down what sits inside each one.
When do I pay?
Half before I start and half before your site goes live. Care + Hosting is separate: it begins the day your edit window closes, 30 days after launch or 45 on the Platform care plan, and that date becomes your monthly billing date.

Owning your site
2 questions
Who owns the website?
You own your website and everything on it: your content, your images, and your customer data. The domain is registered in your business name on your own card, so it is yours from the first day and stays yours if we part ways. I keep the domain pointed at your site and run the hosting, so you never touch a technical setting.
What happens if we part ways?
Your domain stays where it is, because it was never in my name. I move the site, the email sending, and your customer records into accounts you create, then hand you written documentation of every account and setting. A one-time transition fee covers that work, quoted before it starts. If I ever close up shop, you get 60 days notice and the transfer costs nothing.

After launch
2 questions
What happens after launch?
You get 30 days of unlimited small edits while we shake out the details, 45 on the Platform care plan. After that the monthly Care + Hosting plan takes over: hosting, updates, and the changes included in your plan. Call or text me, and anything beyond your plan's allowance gets a quote before I start.
Do you do updates and maintenance?
Yes, through the Care + Hosting plan that comes with every site. Essentials includes up to 2 small change requests a month. Growth includes up to 1 hour of changes a month. Platform includes everything in Growth, plus monitoring work. Anything beyond your plan's allowance is billed at $110 an hour, one hour minimum, quoted before it starts.
